Doctor & Staff

The Eyes Have It, LLC (TEHI) is owned by Dr. Lachionte’ Culpepper who is an Independent Georgia licensed Optometric Physician.

She provides consultations to patients and provides relief coverage for her colleages on a fill-in basis.
Dr. Culpepper has dates available for speaking engagements, panel discussions, and appearances.

She is licensed to practice full scope optometry which includes the diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye conditions and diseases.  She is also certified to fit Corneal Refractive Therapy contact lenses. She is a certified Iridologist. Dr. Culpepper has a Bachelors degree in Biology from Clark Atlanta University, a Masters degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University, and she also holds two degrees from Nova Southeastern University: a Bachelors in Vision Science and a Doctorate in Optometry.

Dr. Culpepper understands that a patient’s eye health and how their eyes work together are essential for their optimal vision.  Because of this understanding, she is an advocate of annual eye health exams for preventative measures. She believes that the eyes are truly the windows to the soul and they reveal a person’s overall health.

Dr. Culpepper believes that every form of healing including traditional medicine definitely has its place especially in trauma cases. She has noticed many of her patients are tired of taking traditional medications for various reasons and are seeking natural treatments (foods, oils, herbs, etc…). They are asking for treatments that can be incorporated into their daily living that will aid in healing their minds, bodies, and spirits with limited to no side effects. Most patients complain of increased feelings of stress, depression, sickness, and lethargy while not getting the proper nutrition. A sedentary lifestyle and not having enough time to enjoy their lives are also very common complaints. Most diseases derive from DIS-EASE in the form of increased inflammation and a decreased immune system. Dr. Culpepper created the Health and Wellness Optimization Program (HAWOP) which encompasses not only eye care but may help systemic care through Iridology and alkaline non-hybrid mineral nutrient foods to offer alternatives to her patients in an effort to relieve some of their concerns. She has noticed that the majority of her patients want their life back and are getting back to the basics…taking care of their minds, bodies, and spirits to achieve optimal health. This is a concept that Dr. Culpepper is committed to. She understands that the mind is extremely powerful and tells the body what to do. The goal of the program is to help patients live their best life now.
